Rev. Larry Starett, Pastor/Elder

Pastor Larry Starett & his wife, Becky, have been with us since January of 2001, making them our longest-serving team. They have been married more than 40 years. They have 3 adult children, and 11 grandchildren.

Pastor Larry received his Bachelor's Degree from Cedarville University and his Master's Degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Graduate School. He is a guide pastor with Small Church USA and is active in leading our local fellowship of churches. He participates in the Pastors Advisory Council for Cedarville University. Becky also graduated from Cedarville University and serves in both the Music Ministry and Women's Ministries.

Rev. Bob Blair, Elder

Bob & his wife, Lisa, have been at OBC since October of 2018.  They have been married over 20 years.

Bob served as the Associate Pastor of Portage Avenue Baptist Church in Portage, Indiana, for thirty years. He and Lisa are actively involved with the AWANA Children's Ministry and the OBC Missions Team at Open Bible Church. Lisa is the Director of our Vacation Bible School. Bob also manages the livestream and video productions for OBC.

Rev. Dr. Wayne Vanderwier, Elder

Wayne & his wife Susie have been at Open Bible Church since 2007. They have been married more than 50 years.

Wayne & Susie are missionaries with Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide (formerly Overseas Instruction in Counseling), an organization Wayne founded in 2006. Prior to 2006 Wayne was a pastor for thirty-two years. Wayne has earned doctorates from Trinity Theological Seminary of Newburgh, Indiana and Baptist Bible Seminary of Clark Summit, Pennsylvania. Wayne is responsible for Biblical Soul Care and Personal Discipleship at Open Bible Church.
